Kellye Carder, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA, received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University in 2006 and her doctoral degree from the George S. Osborne College of Audiology at Salus University in 2010. She completed her fourth-year fellowship training at Greensboro Ear, Nose and Throat. Dr. Carder sees patients in the North Durham and South Durham office. After completing her fourth-year fellowship, Dr. Carder and her family lived outside Philadelphia, PA, before they decided to return to the warmer weather of North Carolina. Dr. Carder worked for Berks ENT in Pennsylvania from 2011-2016 prior to joining NCEENT. Dr. Carder is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, board certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She enjoys seeing hearing aid patients of all ages. Her favorite part of the job is watching patients reconnect with their friends and family after their hearing aid fitting. In her spare time, Dr. Carder enjoys spending time in the kitchen, cooking with her family.

Casey Polcari, AuD, CCC-A, grew up on Long Island, NY. She received her B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Adelphi University, and her doctoral degree from the Long Island Au.D. Consortium, where she attended Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John's Universities. She completed her clinical training at Ear Nose and Throat Associates of NY. Dr. Polcari sees patients in North Durham, Cary, and Roxboro locations. Dr. Polcari is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, as well as board certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She welcomes all patients, but has a special interest in diagnostic audiology, including Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing and the evaluation of balance disorders. In her spare time, Dr. Polcari likes to read, play music, and enjoy the outdoors.

Patricia A. Wild, M.A., CCC-A received her B.A. degree from California State University at Hayward and her M.A. degree from the University of Denver. Ms. Wild sees patients in the North Durham location. Ms. Wild worked as a clinical Audiologist at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital in Inglewood, California for 17 years before relocating with her family to Durham. She has worked at NC Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Clinics for more than 10 years. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists, and the North Carolina State Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Board. Her primary areas of interest are hearing aid fitting and assistive technologies.

Sara Young, Au.D., CCC-A received her B.S. in Communicative Disorders & Sciences from State University of New York at Geneseo and her Doctorate in Audiology from Central Michigan University. She completed her Fourth Year Fellowship at Hearing Evaluation Services in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Young sees patients in the Chapel Hill and North Durham locations. Dr. Young worked as a clinical Audiologist at Rochester Hearing and Speech Center in Rochester, NY before relocating with her husband to North Carolina. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Dr. Young welcomes all patients, but her primary interests are balance disorders, auditory brainstem response testing, and hearing aids in adult patients. In her spare time, Dr. Young enjoys cooking, running, and traveling.

Hannah Dorothy, AuD, was born and raised in Illinois. She received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Illinois University in 2014, and her doctoral degree from East Carolina University in 2018. She completed her clinical externship at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, where she was the 8th Annual Judith Gravel Fellow in Pediatric Audiology.

Dr. Dorothy is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She has special interest and training in pediatric hearing evaluations, hearing aids and threshold-estimation Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing.

In her spare time, Dr. Dorothy enjoys cooking and spending time at the beach.

April R. Scott, Au.D. earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Appalachian State University in 2014 and her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Memphis in 2018. She completed her fourth year externship at Alamance Ear, Nose, and Throat in Burlington, NC.

Dr. Scott enjoys working with patients of all ages and is particularly interested in diagnostic hearing evaluations, and hearing aid fittings and management. 

In her spare time, Dr. Scott enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, exercising, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
